Springridge Construction “Your Renovation Specialist”
Dear Chuck and Team:
In spring of 2011 we decided that we wanted to undertake a permitted
renovation project that would include replacing and expanding an
existing backyard deck, as well as adding a roof over the deck and
creating a storage room under the deck. As first time home buyers we
had never undertaken a renovation project and were very concerned that
we would make a poor choice in contractor so we took the time to
interview 3 different companies as well as review quotes from them.
After meeting with the different contractors several times while we
made final revisions to the plans with our engineer, Springridge
Construction emerged as the clear choice of the 3 companies we were
talking to, based on the comprehensiveness of the quote, the realistic
discussions around time lines for completion, as well as the company
reputation and references that he had.
We were extremely happy that the project started on time, the crew was
always on site as planned and we had absolutely no hold ups at all
during the project which meant that we were able to stick to the
planned time line of completion within 2 months so we could get to use
the new deck before summer ended. We also had no issues with passing
city inspections and we always found Chuck and crew to be very
responsive to small changes to the plans as well as very trustworthy
in regards to the quality of the materials used. The job site was
always tidied up at the end of every day and we always found Chuck and
team to be very pleasant and great to have around and generally caused
very little disruption considering the large scope of the project.
Most importantly, we stayed on budget- Chuck’s quotation was very
accurate.
In general we couldn’t be happier with the finished project and look
forward to enjoying it for years to come. We would absolutely
recommend Springridge Construction to anyone considering a reno
project, large or small. We look forward to many future projects with
Springridge!

We found a 30-year-old house that was perfect in every way, except the stair case came up into the middle of the dining room, the kitchen nook looked frumpy and a basement suite made the place feel like it was severed in half.
But we took the plunge, bought the house, and then spent sleepless nights worrying that we had set ourselves up for the notorious home reno nightmare.
Fortunately, we found Chuck and his team at Springridge Construction. Our first question to Chuck was whether he could move the staircase without too much disruption to the building. He calmly assured us anything was possible.
It was an answer we heard many times as our fix-up list grew over the six-week project. Chuck never disappointed. He not only takes great care and pride in his work, he has many skills. So there was never any squabbling between contractors, or sudden delays to wait for someone else to show up to the work site.
He built a fabulous staircase that incorporated some of the old mahogany panelling from the original structure, which made the new stairs look like they'd been there all along.
He solved a design issue and handled extensive electrical wiring without breaking a sweat. He did plumbing in the kitchen, retiling and grout work, built us a bigger, brighter foyer and delivered our dream home, on a very reasonable budget, in time for us to move in.
After hearing so many horror stories about contractors, we expected long pain and suffering but made new friends of Chuck and his team instead.
We're looking forward to having them back for some more upgrades.

"Over the last ten years Springridge Construction has done several projects for us, both at our home & place of business. The most recent project that was completed by Chuck & his crew was a custom year round deck & hot tub enclosure. Both areas are trimmed out in v-joint cedar and look great!
